Evoke aims to create a meaningful connection with guests to ‘evoke’ an unforgettable modern Vail experience. They offer top-of-the-line REI hybrid cruiser bikes (pedal, not electric) to guests and have bikes set up prior to arrival for those who book in advance. After a quick demo on the bikes, staff tells you the best places to bike for your level of fitness and interests. Schlichting brings 20 years of experience biking, skiing and serving guests in Vail. Vail Golf Club and Betty Ford Garden - This ride is short and beautiful and allows for stops along the way. It’s about two miles, mostly flat and guests can stop and enjoy the legendary gardens, hit balls at the driving range and enjoy a delicious lunch with views of the gore range. East Vail with a Picnic - Just under 6 miles to Big Horn Park in East Vail. This ride will allow guests to explore nature all along the Vail bike path -- waterfalls, the river, aspen trees. Slightly uphill on the way there -- you can then cruise home after a nice lunch in the Big Horn park. Be a local, Go West - Looking to cruise to where the locals hang out? Head West for about 7.5 miles to end up at Eagle-Vail. Stop at the Grand Hyatt Hotel (West Vail) which provides food at their Fireside Lounge or outdoor fast casual food trailer. Then keep biking to Vail Brewing Company in Eagle-Vail located next to the Rocky Mountain Taco Food Truck (yum!) Important - the last 1.5 miles is along a two lane road and extreme caution must be used. Family Park Day - Vail is famous for it’s custom designed playgrounds and we promise they will create memories for your family for a lifetime. Buffehr Creek Park - 1950 Chamonix Lane, three miles from the Evoke shop, mostly flat, slightly downhill on the way there, riding from an elevation of 8,205 ft. at Evoke to 7,986 ft. at the park. Pirate Ship Playground - 9 Hanson Ranch RD, less than a mile from Evoke, a fun place to start! Donovan Park - West Vail, three miles from Evoke, downhill on the way there (from 8205 ft. at Evoke to 7,976 ft. at Donovan. Evoke is located at 292 E Meadow Drive,Vail (next to the covered bridge and inside of the 8150 Ski Shop) for easy pickup and drop off of bikes.
